About Us
Learn more about Audio for Education—an initiative dedicated to raising money through the sale of pre-owned audio equipment to help build schools and support education in underprivileged communities. This initiative was started by a high school student, Christopher McShane, in an attempt to bring education to those not as fortunate as him.

How It Works
When you donate or sell your used audio equipment to Audio for Education, you are contributing to our mission of building schools and supporting education. We carefully resell the equipment with proceeds going towards funding school construction projects and providing educational resources to those in need. This was originally done through phone calls or meetings but has recently transitioned to mostly eBay. The sale profits are then contributed to the buildOn organization which runs youth service afterschool programs in United States high schools and builds schools in developing countries. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of thousands of individuals and communities.
